If you knew that your thoughts create your reality, would you ever let one thought slip by your awareness that you didn't want to experience?
You think 60,000 - 70,000 thoughts in one day, and 90% of those thoughts are the same as the day before. The same thought will always lead to the same choices, and the same choices will always create the same behaviours, and the same behaviours will always produce the same experiences, and the same experiences will create the same familiar emotions and feelings that will drive the same exact same thoughts. Your brain is being hardwired to fire in the same sequences, patterns and combinations everyday, strengthening these neural connections and creating your personality. Your present personality has created the present personal reality called your life.
If you want to create a new personal reality, you would have to start being aware of your thoughts and change them. You would have to start noticing the unconscious habits and behaviours that lead to the same experiences, that create the same emotions and affirm the same identity.
Changing your thoughts would make your brain fire in new sequences, patterns and combinations, forging new synaptic connections. New thoughts should then lead to new choices, new behaviours and new experiences, which should then create new emotions and feelings, driving new thoughts - and that is called evolution. This self-awareness is the beginning of awakening and creating an intentional life where you are no longer the victim of circumstances but are the conscious creator of your life.
